Human Resource Adviser
Location Parramatta 
FULL TIME – 3 Month Contract position 

  

Client Description:

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Adviser to support the team and coordinate initiatives to deliver effective, innovative and inclusive people management practices.


 

Key accountabilities

  • Coordinate and partner with the business to provide advice and support staff on a range of Human Resource Adviser activities including workforce planning, development, performance, engagement, diversity & inclusion, workplace health and safety etc.
  • Coordinate and support the development of a range of organisational development and employee engagement programs that creates a positive employee experience across the employee lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and implement initiatives to increase the effectiveness of our staff and people leaders to successfully deliver key milestones and outcomes that achieve agency and individual goals such as talent management framework, performance & development framework, diversity and inclusion framework and safety and wellbeing framework.
  • Support the creation and delivery of briefs and written reports, that are comprehensive, informative and provide data & insight on a range of matters and are aligned with agency requirements 
  • Support the seamless implementation of HR systems for our staff, Managers and the Executive Team.
  • Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders, including status updates, reports, briefs and discussion papers to manage the flow of information and report on P&C initiatives.
  • Support with the development and best practice research to maintain HR related policies, procedures, guidelines etc that support the delivery..Identify opportunities for improvement in HR service delivery and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to deliver consistent quality outcomes that reflect innovative and appropriate HR service standards.
 

Key challenges

  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders with often competing priorities and varying knowledge levels.
  • Maintaining accurate knowledge of the dynamic and complex people and culture and strategic workforce framework.
