An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the legal team in Sydney on a 12 month FTC, Reporting to the Legal Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal input on projects, a variety of contracts and transactions.

Our client is a market leading construction and engineering company with global operations. An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the legal team in Sydney on a 12 month FTC, Reporting to the Legal Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal input on projects, a variety of contracts and transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts and working across a variety of projects
- Reviewing tender documentation
- Providing advice on dispute resolution and construction litigation matters
- Liaising and managing external law firms
Key Requirements:
Ideally with 8-12 years PQE, you will have experience in the construction and engineering industry, either in house or from a Projects or Construction practice in a top tier or mid tier firm.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating construction and infrastructure contracts
- Exposure back end construction matters is desirable
- Superior negotiation and communication skills
- Posses the ability to work well autonomously or as part of a team as required
