Location: Sydney CBD

Job Type: 18-month contract with a strong potential for conversion to full-time

Salary: $90,000 plus superannuation

Job Description: The Master Data Analyst will play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining the integrity of our company’s master data across multiple systems. This position involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the accuracy and consistency of critical data. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of data management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage master data processes and policies to ensure data accuracy and uniformity.
  • Coordinate with IT and business units to ensure alignment of master data rules and the integrity of data in key systems.
  • Analyze and resolve data issues and provide ongoing support and training to users on data governance practices.
  • Generate reports and extract data insights to support business decisions.
  • Participate in projects to integrate new data management technologies and systems as the business grows.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Master Data Specialist, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across multiple departments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
