Description 

The role of the COO will support the General Managers and act as a mentor for all Sales, Marketing and Production functions, across the East Coast. The COO will leverage extensive knowledge and best practices throughout the entire manufacturing and distribution lifecycle. They will support and direct customer activities across the group, whilst guiding the leadership team to enhance efficiency and capabilities. Overall, the COO will ensure customer satisfaction through superior service and high-performing products and teams.

Key Responsibilities 
  • In collaboration with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape the future direction of the group.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to support visionary service delivery in anticipation of future growth.
  • Ensuring alignment of current services and operational standards with the business growth strategy.
  • Exhibit professionalism with both internal and external stakeholders, emphasising a thorough understanding of operational standards, relevant regulations, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Prioritising customer satisfaction, acquisition and future service enhancements.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of care, retention, development, and attraction of talent.
  • Drive cultural alignment across the group.
  • Ensure accountability sales, marketing and production, through data and reporting.
  • Drive growth through a values-driven approach, emphasising innovation.
  • Plan and execute two major moves in Sydney and Brisbane.
  • Support change management practices with the rollout of a new ERP implementation.
  • Deliver to budget expectations.
  • Drive efficiencies across all divisions.
Profile
  • Proven expertise in managing complex large-scale businesses with manufacturing, warehousing and distribution.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities centered on team development and effective people leadership.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships across all levels.
  • Demonstrates considerable tact and diplomacy in all interactions.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Experience of integrating and expanding businesses as a key part of an executive leadership team.
  • Committed to supporting the company’s safe work practices in line with COR.
  • Organised, proactive, and responsive in interactions, driven by customer satisfaction.
  • Business degree qualified and industry experience would be highly regarded.
