Client Details

The business is a privately owned engineering and assembly business with plans to grow and expand over the next 18 months. The client requires a Master Production Scheduler reporting to its new Supply Chain Manager.

Description

Reporting directly to an impressive Supply Chain Manager the Master Production Scheduler will be responsible for utilising the new ERP system to produce long term planning and capacity plans. Working closely with production and sales you will prepare an optimised production schedule that ensures OTIF delivery for a list of blue chip end users. You will:

-Create and develop the Master schedule, working closely with supply chain, sales and operations to ensure OTIF production

-Ensure production targets are reached in the short and long term, ensuring parts availability for the site through a close working relationship with the Production and Logistics teams

-Develop and maintain the MRP process

Profile

You are a proven Production Planner, Master Scheduler or Materials Planner with several years experience managing a master schedule. You have experience several years experience within manufacturing and assembly environments and tertiary qualifications in a supply chain or industrial engineering field. You are excited to join a small and growing business who put their staff first and be able to form strong working relationships across the company.
