About the Role:
Our client is a leading provider of student accommodation nationally. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join the team at Griffith University Village.

This role is pivotal in supporting the smooth operation of accommodation and reservation systems, while ensuring a high level of service for both residents and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing occupancy, operations, compliance, and administration activities to maintain the Village's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Occupancy: Collaborate with Village Management to achieve occupancy targets, assist with the sales process, manage resident applications, and maintain excellent relationships with University staff and other stakeholders.
  • Operations: Provide administrative support to ensure effective operations, manage resident enquiries, handle rent runs and payments, and assist with operational workflows.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Support the Village’s compliance with safety and legal requirements, including monitoring risk and implementing safety protocols.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with Village staff, residents, and University staff to support Village goals.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with bank reconciliation, processing security deposits, and generating reports as required.
Skills & Experience:
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to meet sales or occupancy targets, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems (preferably StarRez).
  • Personal Skills: A passion for customer service, the ability to work independently, solve problems, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in a similar role in the hotel/accommodation industry, with a background in customer service, reservations, and operational administration.
  • Qualifications: A Diploma in Hotel or Business Administration or a similar qualification, along with relevant background checks (National Police Check) and a current Australian driver's licence.
