Client Details

The client is a food manufacturing business near Lakemba running several lines on their afternoon shift. As a result of an internal move the business requires a Production Shift Supervisor for the shift. You will be in charge of several lines and circa 15 staff initially at a site ear marked for significant volume growth.


Description 

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will hold control of the Afternoon Shift. On shift you will be responsible for circa 15-20 staff and 3 lines with responsibility for people and performance. Your focus will be on output, safety and producing right first time to retailer standards. You will be expected to engage in CI and waste reduction projects when you’re not on the shop floor with your operators and supervisors. Working hours are 14:30- 22:30 Monday to Friday.

Profile

You are an experienced Production/ Shift Manager/ Supervisor from within food/beverage/ pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will be able to evidence running an automated line and small team and be able to evidence an understanding of CI and Lean Manufacturing. You will be flexible on shift work and excited about working for a famous food manufacturing brand.
