About this role
This is a hands-on role, primarily in advisory, where you will be working as a team manager across 2 teams. You have the opportunity to directly contribute to shaping the firm’s strategic direction and grow your career for the future. This role is mainly business services, where audit experience isn’t a pre-requisite. However, if you have audit experience you have the opportunity to also be involved in some larger jobs covering financial reporting and tax as well as direct client contract and oversight with the audit involvement.


Key Responsibilities
  • Experience in FBT returns, CGT Advice, and business advisory work including management reports, cashflow forecasting and budgeting.
  • Prepare and review tax compliance and tax planning for HNWI’s, partnerships, SMSFs, trusts and companies.
  • Experience dealing with MYOB and Xero, and in Microsoft Excel.
  • Competently guide and train a team of staff and manage personal workflows.
  • The responsibility of organising and managing a range of clients and face-to-face meetings.
 
 Skills and experience
  • Minimum 4 years local business services experience within an Australian public practice.
  • Completed CA or CPA.
  • Audit experience advantageous but not essential.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have and Australian or New Zealand permanent residency.
