Production Manager

•      Processing (Production) Manager role managing 3 lines and 40 staff

•      Large and rapidly growing fresh food processing facility near Auburn

•      Report directly to the Site Manager

Client Details

The client is a large fresh food processing business supplying the major multiples across the country. Processing and Packing a range of Products at their Auburn site the business requires a Production & Processing Manager on site.

Description 


Reporting into the Site Manager and managing 3 fresh food processing lines and up to 40 staff you will be responsible for production, output, safety and all associated first line management on site. Specifically you will:

- Supervise all aspects of production  within High Care and Low Risk areas of the
factory
-Manage all labour planning and resource allocation
-Ensure products are produced and packed to GMP and HAACP standards
-Analyse OEE rates of the various lines ensuring preventative maintenance plans are scheduled with engineering 
-Ensure safety and safe working are embedded into the site
-Analyse and implement improvement and waste reduction projects on site
-Deputise for the Site Manager when required
 
Profile

You are a proven Production Manager/ Supervisor with your experience gained from within a food manufacturing environment. You are exposed to GMP and HACCP driven environments and be able to evidence having led performance for a shift working in a labour intensive processing site. Ideally you hold a tertiary qualification in a related field and have aspirations in becoming an Operations Manager of the future.
