Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a real impact in the disability sector? We’re seeking a clinically driven and proactive RN to lead high-quality care delivery and clinical governance across our NDIS services.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Governance & Quality: Ensure care meets best practice, NDIS standards, and drives continuous improvement.
- Risk & Incident Management: Conduct risk assessments, respond to incidents, and maintain emergency preparedness.
- Medication & Clinical Oversight: Manage safe medication practices and provide/supervise complex health supports.
- Training & Delegation: Train and support staff, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure ongoing competency.
- Collaborative Care Planning: Work with allied health and families to develop person-centred care plans.
- Compliance & Documentation: Keep detailed clinical records aligned with audit and NDIS requirements.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain AHPRA standards, uphold ethical practice, and commit to ongoing development.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in disability, community, or related clinical settings
- Strong knowledge of NDIS compliance and quality standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Current Driver’s Licence (for client visits)
- Experience with high-intensity health supports
- Additional certifications (e.g., infection control, medication management)
- Proficiency in Vietnamese – highly regarded but not essential
