The opportunity has arisen for a corporate/commercial lawyer to join a high performing and customer focused financial services organisation. The role is reporting to the head of legal and will entail  providing legal advice to the business across commercial contracting, procurement, partnering and consumer law.
 
  • Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts
  • Providing commercially-focused legal and governance advice to business partners and peers.
  • Managing, negotiating & advising the business on a range of commercial I agreements
  • Advising and reviewing intellectual property matters and privacy law
  • Keeping the business up to date on regulatory issues
  • Liaising closely with the business and external counsel.
 
 
  • Ideally a minimum of 2  years PQE gained in-house or from a respected private practice firm.
  • Broad ranging commercial contracting, procurement and consumer law experience
  • Prior exposure to IP, privacy and data
  • Resilient with a calm demeanour & a solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
  • Strong inter-personally with an ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
