To be considered for this role you must be an Australian citizen to be able to hold the Defence Common Access Card (DCAC), can hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), pass a Federal Police Check, and meet regulatory requirements to work at Defence Establishment in Fairbairn, ACT.

Our client is currently hiring for a casual Ground Operations Agent to join the team.

About the role:

As a Ground Operations Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the VIP Terminal. Your responsibilities will include:
 

• Handling aircraft on the ramp.
• Managing terminal operations.
• Coordinating with RAAF, airport authority, customs, immigration, and quarantine officials.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Here’s how you’ll spend your day:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Perform ramp duties, including aircraft handling and marshalling.
• Manage terminal operations, including coordinating with customs, immigration.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with additional tasks as required to support the efficient functioning of the VIP Terminal.

 
Ideally, you will have:

• Prior experience working on ramp or terminal operations.
• Familiarity with aircraft.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with high-profile clients.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of airport, military, customs, immigration.

• Exceptional customer service and attention-to-detail.
