About the role
This key position will provide strategic support and advice on a variety of activities and projects which include employee relations and performance. The HRBP will build trusting relationships with all relevant stakeholders while strengthening engagement between the leadership group and human resources.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Engage and partner with senior leaders across the organisation to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
- Support business leaders on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Provide coaching to business leaders on employee performance management and employment laws.
- Workforce planning and succession planning.
- Provide support and guidance on compensation and benefits initiatives.
- Support various regional and national projects and initiatives.
- A tertiary qualification in area of HRM or relevant discipline is highly desired.
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience & success in previous HR Generalist/Advisor roles.
- Must be experienced in interpreting and advising managers on employee relations matters, including performance management.
- Good understanding of the legislative and industrial framework that applies to human resources management issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge in resolving Human Resource issues, using well-developed problem-solving and negotiation skills, whilst maintaining confidentiality.
