Manager - Planning & Governance

Newly created hands-on role to provide leadership and delivery of the Planning & Governance function. You will build the team and drive continuous improvement and maturity to the business.

Main responsibilities:

- Lead the Planning & Governance function
- People Management & Leadership, Budgeting & Performance and Reporting & Corporate Governance
- Establish and implement a Service Delivery and Resource Modelling framework
- Support objectives aligned to planning and governance and the overarching strategic objectives of the planning and governance team
- Develop, submit and deliver business cases that drive exceptional planning and governance service delivery. 
- Lead senior planning and governance team to understand and document existing processes whilst focusing on improved quality, cost/benefit and value analysis, and service delivery modelling and outcomes.
- Drive and proactively promote, educate and establish consistent best practice project and business management, governance, processes and methodologies across all of org.
- Establish and implement and enterprise-wide framework and approach for Service Level standards and performance, value management and benefits realisation. 

Ideal Background:

- Significant planning and governance leadership & delivery experience within a high performance environment.
- Proven team creation, mentoring and outcome delivery, leveraging planning and governance ability to drive exceptional cross organisational outcomes.
- Knowledge of budgeting and establishment and adherence to financial KPI’s and agreed outcomes.
- Established analytic and problem-solving skills including proven ability to analyse and understand complex information, business processes and concepts
- High level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including evidence of building networks and collaborative working arrangements with diverse stakeholder groups.
