Manufacturing Accountant

Due to an internal promotion, my client an inspiring leader is seeking a strong manufacturing accountant to join the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare daily costing calculation and analysis
• Inventory management
• Prepare standard monthly journals and month end reports
• Maintain changes in inventory accounts
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure Accounting standards and policies are adhered to
• Adhoc reporting and analysis for the senior finance team
• Assisting with internal and external audit process
• Other Ad-hoc duties and process improvements as required

ABOUT YOU

• Have or is working towards a CPA/CA qualification
• Prior Management Accounting experience preferred (FMCG industry ideally)
• Solid understanding of product costing standard vs actual
• General understanding of inventory and material movements
• Advanced Excel skills
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
