The role of marketing Manager will be a pivotal role of influence, driving and supporting activity culminating in an exciting future for their clients, broader community and their employee's.


Description 

  • Work with the firm’s leadership to understand target markets and how best to reach and influence 
  • Identify existing and emerging marketing opportunities .
  • Understand the competitive environment and shifts occurring within key markets.
  • Develop the annual marketing plan within the overall framework of the firm’s five year strategic plan:
  • Undertake market research including competitor analysis;Maintain a strong market awareness and make recommendations on opportunistic activity.
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth to collate and evaluate feedback from target markets and current clients
  • Identify optimal communication channels for each target market. These may include: Digital, social, Sponsorships, Events and Third party industry league tables
  • Develop relationships with appropriate specialist media and other relevant industry-related organisations, working with firm’s appointed PR firm;
  • Develop annual marketing budget and execution timelines; and communicate plan and execution milestones internally to optimise leverage and engagement.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget and meet the execution timelines expressed in the plan;
  • Prepare and manage the firm’s submissions to third party industry league tables;
  • Systemise and maintain core bid and proposal documents and assets (deal sheet, capability statements and client references) and provide support to Directors in preparing bid and proposal documents;


You

  • have extensive experience in legal brand marketing and communications strategy, planning, execution and evaluation;
  • have demonstrable experience in building brand equity in new and existing markets;
  • through engagement and market understanding, be capable of building strong and trusted relationships with senior members of the team;
  • have experience in building a scalable marketing function to support a rapidly expanding business;
  • have the ability to synthesise complex information and market intelligence for sophisticated target audiences;
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with high accuracy and attention to detail;
  • demonstrate the ability to plan ahead, manage competing timelines and multitask;
  • be an exceptional team player and thrive on collaboration and input from the broader team;
  • be adaptable and creative;
  • consistently demonstrate behaviours consistent with the firm’s values.
