Description
- Lead the national sales strategy to align with business goals, identify market opportunities, and expand market share.
- Manage, mentor, and coach the sales team of 5 nationally to achieve targets and foster a high-performance culture.
- Set and track sales targets, develop plans, and drive both short- and long-term revenue growth.
- Implement training programs, conduct performance reviews, and ensure the team’s ongoing development.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to refine strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Work with marketing, product, and operations teams to align on messaging, product offerings, and campaigns.
- Provide regular sales performance reports and use data insights to optimise strategies.
- Manage the sales budget to ensure effective resource allocation and maximise ROI.
Profile
- Sales management experience and a strong background in senior-level coaching or professional mentoring are essential.
- Experience in managing both project-based sales and the day-to-day sales of consumables.
- Experience and knowledge of electrical accessories is highly desirable.
- A well-established network of industry contacts is desirable.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- In-depth understanding of market dynamics and the ability to adapt strategies in a changing environment.
