This top 50 accounting firm, located in Sydney CBD, specializes in providing a range of services to various clients including start-ups, listed entities, large family groups, HNWI’s, businesses and inbounds. They are a leading firm in business advisory and accountancy, designed by growth through solving complex business problems for their clients.

The firm is currently offering a clear pathway to partnership. You will work on various aspects of tax and business advisory services including corporate and international tax, areas of tax controversary and preparing detailed memorandums of advice. This role will allow you to tackle intricate business problems while providing numerous opportunities to grow your career along the way.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of your own.
  • Work on internal projects.
  • Assist partners in preparing tax advice (corporate tax experience is beneficial).
  • Work with clients directly.
  • Mentor a team of 2-4 Seniors and Intermediates.
  • WIP management.
 
Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of experience in a Business Advisory or Tax role at an Australian Public Practice firm.
  • Permanent resident or citizen of Australia.
  • Full CA or CPA qualification.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to work with budgets and meet productivity targets.
  • Understand tax reporting principles, legislation and reporting requirements.
  • Have strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience providing technical tax advice to clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
