Learning Solutions Designer is responsible for creating impactful learning solutions that enhance business and people performance. This role ensures compliance with essentials training, supporting the organizsation’s license to operate and foster a culture of responsibility across all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learning Needs Analysis & Solution Design: Analyse business learning needs and design engaging, sustainable solutions that align with frameworks and compliance standards (Safety, Risk, Compliance, Diversity).
- Methodology & Standards Development: Develop and promote Learning Architecture and Blueprints, ensuring consistency in design, implementation, and evaluation across the business.
- Quality Assurance & Evaluation: Ensure learning materials meet high-quality standards, using evaluation and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams (People, Performance & Reputation, Group Risk) to ensure learning solutions meet quality, scope, and timeline requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education & Experience: Degree in Education, L&D, or related field.
- Experience in instructional design and corporate compliance environments.
Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and curate impactful L&D solutions
- Strong knowledge of instructional design theories and adult learning principles
- Experience applying design thinking, human-centred design, and Agile methodologies
- Skilled in measuring and evaluating learning effectiveness
- Effective stakeholder management and vendor collaboration
- Ability to work across disciplines and within collaborative teams
- Excellent organisational, planning, and workflow management skills
- Comfortable managing priorities in ambiguous environments
- Proficient in eLearning (e.g., Articulate Storyline), LMS, video production, visual design, gamification, and emerging technologies
- Interest in emerging technology and best practices
