Key Responsibilities:


Business Intelligence (BI) Excellence:

  • Design, develop, and maintain visually stunning, interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that empower decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
  • Dive deep into complex datasets, uncovering actionable insights that help identify emerging trends and drive high-level strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with business leaders to transform complex needs into cutting-edge, data-driven technical solutions that fuel business success.
  • Take the lead in ETL processes, data modeling, and integration to ensure that our data remains accurate, consistent, and easily accessible.
  • Establish and maintain best-in-class data governance frameworks, ensuring security and compliance standards are met across all data and systems.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate government reporting to meet all required deadlines and regulatory standards.

Application Support – Operational Excellence:

  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support for mission-critical applications, tackling incidents, bugs, and performance issues with expertise and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain application health, conducting in-depth root cause analysis to identify and resolve performance issues quickly, collaborating with both internal IT teams and external vendors as necessary.
  • Lead and oversee system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless operations across services.
  • Create detailed user guides, troubleshooting manuals, and lead training sessions to empower end-users and maximize operational success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test new features, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver optimal value.
  • Continuously drive innovation by identifying opportunities to optimize both BI tools and business applications to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or ITIL for support roles would be highly valued.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, and Application Support.
  • Proven expertise in Power BI, and experience with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM) is essential.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams, inspiring growth and driving success.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
  • Expertise in Power BI and a solid understanding of best practices in data visualisation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for applications, databases, and APIs.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Outstanding communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
  • Familiarity with Health platforms like HL7/FHIR is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and project management tools such as Scrum or JIRA.
