Description
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the architectural and design community. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, and contractors. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on product selection, specifications, and installation requirements.
- Conduct product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and other educational sessions to showcase the Group's products and capabilities.
- Provide technical assistance and support to clients throughout the specification process. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met, and projects are executed to the highest standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Identify emerging opportunities and potential challenges and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop sales collateral, presentations, and other promotional materials. Ensure that sales tools are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand messaging.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for management. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure progress against sales goals.
- Represent the group at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions. Engage with industry professionals, cultivate leads, and enhance brand visibility within the architectural and design community.

- Prior experience in sales, particularly within the construction or building materials industry, is highly beneficial.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
