Core to organisational growth, is the appointment of an experienced and credible Senior Talent Acquisition and Sourcing Lead. 

This role will build and manage strategic talent pipelines both internal and external, and up to Executive Level.


Description 

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be instrumental in shaping the talent acquisition strategy. Managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to pinpoint business requirements and craft strategies to attract the best talent in market.

Partnering with business unit leaders, your role involves identifying talent needs, creating personalised recruitment approaches, and actively seeking out top talent to fulfill business goals.

You will use a range of tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Talent Insights, to enhance your capabilities and access data-driven insights.

  • Lead the ongoing development and execution of the talent acquisition strategy, identifying key metrics for talent acquisition objectives, including contribution to the employee value proposition project.
  • Partner with Senior Leaders providing professional advice on workforce planning to understand and deliver current and future resourcing needs.
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with Hiring Managers to meet the overall people strategy and objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment process cycle, from talent pooling, candidate attraction through to selection and offer.
  • Partner with external agency providers, overseeing quality of service. 
  • Add value through contemporary and effective sourcing methods, understanding market trends, leveraging opportunities and implementing best practice, leveraging data and analytics.
  • Will manage requisition load of 10-15 and work closely with advisors to manage the rest of the business unit, typically about 30-40 live jobs.  

Profile

You will have demonstrated success in managing strategic recruitment processes and leading end-to-end campaigns. A critical business hire, you will have exemplary communication skills and recruitment expertise.
  • Demonstrated talent acquisition experience in leading recruitment campaigns.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end recruitment activities.
  • Knowledge of contemporary attraction and recruitment practices and an innovative approach to recruitment activities.
  • Ability to manage communications across different levels of the organisation including senior leadership team.
  • High level attention to detail and effective time management to meet business and stakeholder requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address recruitment challenges and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, exercise discretion, and maintain confidentiality when handling tasks.
  • Must have excellent sourcing skills - proven ability to head hunt, manage talent pools for always on roles, drive referrals, create interesting partnerships etc 
  • Industry experience - Ideally construction, infrastructure, utilities background type roles. 
  • Strong project management and reporting skills as lots of recruitment is campaign/project based and will need reporting up the SLT and Executive. 
  • Must have drive, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to talk to this topic - What does busy look like? How have you driven change and improvement in the team? How do you leverage technology?
  • No direct reports but will be a coach and mentor.
