This firm has experienced significant growth, acquiring numerous new clients in Canberra, with a combined value exceeding $25 million. Their diverse client base includes small family businesses, large construction and development firms, family groups, 30 entities, as well as professionals such as doctors, medical specialists, and lawyers. Staff work closely with partners on each project, ensuring a team-oriented approach to every job. The firm also promotes a friendly and supportive culture, with weekly Friday dinners and a social baseball team to encourage team bonding and relaxation. They’re looking for a Senior Manager who wants to be part of the team with the ambition to drive the future growth for the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse portfolio of clients from multiple partners within the firm.
Work on an established client base of $1 million.
Client meetings with Partners.
Workflow management, succession planning, business planning, profitability forecasting, cashflow forecasting, business sales and purchases.
Help clients run their business from a financial reporting perspective.

Skills and Qualifications

At least of 9 years of experience within Australian public practice.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Manager level role.
CA or CPA qualification in Australia.
Great leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of accounting software and financial management tools.
