My client is a leading structural steel supplier servicing a variety of clients across NSW and ACT, with expansion considerations currently being considered the business offers a complete range of service from estimating, CAD drawings, a variety of proprietary systems and products, the company is privately owned and has enjoyed year on year growth across the last ten years.

Description
The Key Account Manager role is an exciting opportunity giving you the chance to interact with both internal and external stakeholders across the business.  The role will focus on attracting commercial contracts while maintaining and managing commercial customer driven tasks working as part of the wider sales and marketing function.

Key responsibilities;
Attract and retain commercial contracts
Develop long-term, strategic relationships with key customers to deliver outstanding service and support
Communicate with commercial clients to develop a strong pipeline and explain product value.
Identify relevant opportunities to stock, and supply, additional product, and hardware lines into commercial segment.
Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate commercial client need fulfillment.
Deliver to financials and market share goals
Report on pipeline generation, leads and opportunities to management
Ensure compliance for all invoicing and customer data.
Ensure execution of the commercial, promotional & strategic plans
Develop strong relationships with key customers and operations staff.

Self-motivated & driven
Proven track record of nurturing and growing key relationships
Capable of working autonomously
Persuasive and builds rapport
Experience in the building or construction industry
A successful track record of achieving sales targets

Location and remuneration
50:50 split of being in the office and on the road with customers
