Job description
• Household name in food manufacturing, largest site of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere
• Maintenance Manager, Sydney Based
• Report directly to the Head of Engineering
Client Details
The business has grown 10 fold over the last 5 years, investing hugely in its state of the art manufacturing plants. Based from its Liverpool HQ the business is looking for its next Maintenance Manager.
Description
Reporting directly to the Group Engineering Manager you will plan and implement an effective and efficient maintenance program to ensure fast cost-effective support to the production function at this 24/7 facility. Specifically you will:
-Oversee and plan maintenance activities with efficient and effective allocation of resources to ensure adequate maintenance coverage across all shifts
-Monitor the performance of all processing equipment and manage repair, overhaul and servicing of equipment
-Facilitate further development of the preventative maintenance program for all processing machinery, plant, services and structures; Identifying, planning and implement changes to existing process, installations and maintenance
-Carry out root cause analysis on all machinery; liaising with the Operations Manager with regards to all scheduled maintenance
-Action and improve key performance indicators for the site relating to maintenance of machinery and equipment
Profile
You are a proven Maintenance/ Engineering Manager with mechanical and electrical understanding. You have been exposed to Preventative Maintenance and have a depth of experience within food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
