Description

Our client is an industry-leading building and construction materials business renowned for delivering exceptional customer service and fast lead times. They are looking for a Sales Strategy & Marketing Director who will drive brand growth, market expansion, and customer engagement across multiple channels, both locally and across the East coast. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the residential construction or steel fabrication sector, a proven track record in brand positioning, and a strong passion for crafting impactful go-to-market strategies. The Sales Strategy & Marketing Director leader will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute a Sales & Marketing Strategy that supports company growth.
• Boost brand awareness and strengthen the company's position as a leader in residential and commercial steel fabrication.
• Lead the development and execution of omnichannel marketing campaigns across digital, print, PR, and social media.
• Create data-driven, personalised campaigns using social media, email, paid ads, and print for optimal reach.
• Use market analysis, customer segmentation, and data insights to drive sales and marketing strategies.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal ROI through performance tracking and data-driven decisions.
• Build relationships with strategic suppliers and key customers to boost brand visibility.

Profile

• At least 10 years of experience in marketing roles, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role within the construction or steel industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferable).
• Proven success in increasing brand awareness and driving sales through effective marketing strategies.
• Skilled in analysing market data, consumer insights, and performance metrics to refine and enhance marketing efforts.
• Expert in digital marketing strategies, including social media and e-commerce growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and strategies.
