Description 

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a critical role supporting and steering the financial direction of the organisation. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all facets of financial management, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Leveraging insights and financial data. This role will optimize decision-making processes to ensure alignment with achieving the organization's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Drive continual enhancement of financial operations, adapting strategies to evolving conditions, optimising financial performance, and cultivating a high-performing finance team.
  • Ensure that financial initiatives are aligned with business strategy, developing the finance strategy to drive growth and profitability.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on comprehensive financial budgeting and analysis.
  • Direct precise accounting, lead robust financial forecasting, and spearhead strategic M&A initiatives to promote growth.
  • Implement rigorous risk management practices to mitigate financial risks, safeguard assets, and ensure compliance with regulatory governance requirements.
  • Champion financial innovation to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and support business transformation initiatives.
  • Engage stakeholders through transparent communication of financial strategies, fostering consensus and support for key initiatives.
  • Responsible for the financial functions for the development of the new ERP system implementation.
  • Engage, collaborate and facilitate across all divisions.
Profile
  • Proven experience as a CFO, B2B wholesale.
  • Experience within the construction and manufacturing industry would be highly regarded.
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Hands-on experience in the development of a robust and successful financial strategy to support significant growth initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and strategic thinking aptitude.
  • Skilled communicator adept at influencing and collaborating across functional areas.
