Role responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals.
- Employee Relations: Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and resolving issues effectively.
- Recruitment & Selection: Manage the full recruitment and selection process to ensure we attract top talent.
- Talent Management: Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital.
- HR Systems & Strategy: Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures to streamline operations and drive success.
- Work Environment: Foster a positive working culture, ensuring employee satisfaction and well-being.
- Performance Management: Oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and employee growth.
- Compensation & Benefits: Maintain and optimise pay plans and benefits programs that meet industry standards.
- Training & Development: Assess training needs and apply relevant programs to support employee development and enhance skills.
- Data-Driven Insights: Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and analysis.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR best practices.
The successful candidate:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or other senior HR roles, in the Disability or Aged Care space
- Understanding of NDIS nuances
- People-oriented and results-driven with a passion for employee success.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to develop strategies and lead with a collaborative approach.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
