This champion of best practice will lead, guide, and empower a team of operations professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

With a more robust structure in place, the newly appointed HR Operations Manager will have the full support of the leadership team.


The Role:

The HR Operations Manager is accountable for driving the provision of HR operational services to deliver high-impact support to the broader group.

Outside of day-to-day operations, the HR Operations Manager is strategically building stakeholder relationships and collaborating across the group to continuously improve and optimise processes to drive P&C operational excellence.

The HR Operations Manager is accountable for:

  • Developing and continuously improving a triage model, including processes and service platform pathways to effectively channel P&C queries for self-service, tier one resolution or specialist support.
  • Collaborating with P&C teams and leaders to develop and maintain relevant knowledge materials and maintaining an appropriate level of expertise in the HR Operations team.
  • Ensuring the provision of relevant policies and and procedures that support accessible and effective HR solutions and services to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, and industrial instrument obligations, including and building a structure of cyclical and ad-hoc reporting to pre-empt any changes to these obligations.
  • Leading quality data management processes in the HRIS ecosystem and building metrics and insights that track adoption, utilisation and proficiency of stakeholders in use of resources and systems and enable informed, data driven decision making.
  • Collaborating with wider P&C leaders to identify areas of opportunity to improve core business processes, work-flows, data flow and systems and implement solutions for continuous improvement across HR Operations.

Successful candidate:

To be successful in this application, you will have at least three years experience in a similar role with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study
  • Management and leadership experience
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Negotiation, conflict management and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to commit to a 12mth FTC
