We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Employee Connect Functional Lead to support and enhance their core HRIS functions. Role Overview:


As the Employee Connect Functional Lead, you will be responsible for leading the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) initiatives related to the Employee Connect platform. This includes overseeing the implementation, configuration, support, and optimisation of core HRIS functions to enhance employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and ensure data integrity. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that the Employee Connect platform aligns with business needs and improves the overall employee experience.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Connect System Management: Lead the management, enhancement, and optimization of the Employee Connect platform, ensuring the system is aligned with the organisation’s HR strategy and business requirements.
  • HRIS Functional Expertise: Provide functional expertise and support for core HRIS processes, including employee data management, onboarding, performance management, and reporting.
  • System Configuration & Customisation: Oversee the configuration, setup, and customization of the Employee Connect platform to meet organisational needs and ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, and business teams to ensure the Employee Connect platform meets functional requirements and integrates with other HR systems.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation: Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within Employee Connect to enhance efficiency, employee engagement, and HR operations.
  • System Support & Troubleshooting: Provide support and troubleshooting for any technical or functional issues within the Employee Connect platform, ensuring swift resolution to minimise operational disruption.
  • Training & Change Management: Lead training initiatives to ensure that HR and business users can effectively use the Employee Connect platform. Support change management initiatives for system upgrades or process changes.
  • Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant data protection regulations and company policies, including managing system access controls and security protocols.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor HR system performance, employee engagement metrics, and other key HR data insights.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, user manuals, and functional requirements to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and system continuity.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in leading, managing, and optimizing HRIS platforms, specifically Employee Connect or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of core HRIS functions, including employee lifecycle management, onboarding, performance management, and reporting.
  • Experience in system configuration, data integration, and user access management within HR systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to meet organisational needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address system or process-related challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train users and lead change management initiatives.
  • Understanding of HR data privacy and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to generate meaningful insights.
  • HRIS certification or experience with platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM is highly desirable.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HRIS management or a functional lead role with a focus on Employee Connect or similar platforms.
  • Experience in leading or supporting HR system implementations, enhancements, and support processes.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and the ability to drive efficiency and engagement through HR systems.
  • HRIS certification or training in relevant platforms is a plus.
