ICT Operations Officer – 6-Month Contract
Location: Sydney | Hybrid Work Arrangement
Are you an experienced ICT professional with a passion for project management and financial processes? We are looking for a dynamic ICT Operations Officer to join our team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of allocated requests, from project setup and ordering to billing release and project closure. You’ll be the key contact for the ICT Operations team, ensuring efficient order processing and timely billing implementation, all while providing exceptional service to stakeholders.

You’ll be the key contact for the ICT Operations team, ensuring efficient order processing and timely billing implementation, all while providing exceptional service to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end requests from WBS Project/Contract setup through to ordering, billing release, and project closures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the ICT Operations team, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of orders.
- Assist in closing customer and stakeholder queries regarding financials, goods and services ordering, and billing.
- Apply governance across processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Accurately load WBS projects and contracts in the accounting system.
- Understand financial, commercial, and billing requirements to ensure timely and accurate billing implementation as per the executed contract.
- Process sales documents and undertake varied client services duties in line with company procedures to maintain consistency.
- Collaborate with Sales, Quoting, Project Teams, Finance, and Procurement to manage both existing and new customer contracts.
- Support the Sales team by assisting with daily tasks and resolving post-sales-related issues.
- Build and maintain strong vendor and stakeholder relationships to ensure smooth operations.
- Work outside of core hours when needed to meet critical business activities and timelines, especially during month/quarter/year-end.
- Maintain accurate records for projects, contracts, orders, and any associated changes or amendments.
- Oversee project and contract closures to ensure a seamless transition and completion.
- Proven experience in an ICT operations or project management role, with strong understanding of financial, commercial, and billing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with project management tools and accounting systems is an advantage.
- Ability to manage critical tasks under tight deadlines, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A solid understanding of company policies and procedures, with a focus on governance and compliance.
