About this role
This firm is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join its team with a genuine opportunity to progress to a Senior Accountant position and beyond. This is the perfect opportunity to move to a progressive firm that supports work-life balance, flexibility and promotes a team-based culture.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Service a range of diverse client portfolios.
  • Exposure to business advisory work including cashflow forecasting and budgeting.
  • Complete FBT returns, payroll tax returns and activity statements.
  • Prepare financial statements, group tax summaries and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs.
  • Hands on work with SMEs and business owners from a variety of industries.
  • Utilize MYOB suite, Xero, and Class Super.
 
Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working at an Australian Public Practice firm.
  • Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia.
  • Experience with Xero and CaseWare.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
