The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will:
- Lead the month-end process and ensure the timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Deliver financial and KPI reporting to the senior leadership team and board.
- Conduct detailed analysis of cost and revenue to identify opportunities or challenges.
- Oversee cashflow forecasting, fixed asset management, and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and manage reporting for BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, and GST.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Drive process optimization, enhance efficiency, and support stocktake processes.
- A qualified professional with over 5 years of experience in fast-paced businesses.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous).
- A team-oriented individual with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
