You will be responsible for assessing the current structure, recommending improvements, and identifying the development gaps necessary for a successful transition to the redesigned model.
As part of a broader project team, you will collaborate with various departments to support the development of a new service operating model, including workforce models, operational policies, and performance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the current organisational structure within the Text and Chat function to identify strengths, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Develop a detailed proposal for a new organisational structure that aligns with strategic goals and future-proof the department for growth.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure the new structure integrates seamlessly with operational improvements, service delivery enhancements, and technology updates.
- Identify and address workforce capability gaps, creating an up-skilling plan to equip staff with the competencies required for the new structure.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including team leaders and HR, to secure support and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring clear communication and staff engagement to facilitate a smooth transition to the new structure.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in organisational design or organisational development within dynamic environments.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and processes, with experience guiding organisations through transitions.
- Familiarity with the mental health sector or not-for-profit organisations is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and redesign organisational structures, assess workforce capabilities, and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate new structures and the rationale behind changes.
- Stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organisation.
