Role Overview:
Looking for a highly motivated and experienced SAP Platform Manager to oversee the management, optimisation, and enhancement of our SAP systems and platforms. As the SAP Platform Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the SAP platform runs efficiently, supports business operations, and aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Management: Oversee and manage the SAP system landscape, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other related platforms, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Project Delivery: Lead and support SAP-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, on-budget execution, and alignment with business needs.
- Optimisation & Upgrades: Manage and implement system upgrades, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives for SAP systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure that the SAP systems align with business requirements.
- Incident & Problem Management: Proactively manage incidents and resolve complex technical issues affecting SAP systems. Coordinate with the support team for quick resolution.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure SAP systems are secure and compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and internal audit requirements.
- Budgeting & Resource Planning: Manage the SAP platform budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet business demands.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and upgrades. Provide regular reports on system performance, issues, and improvements.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in SAP platform management, including SAP S/4HANA and other related systems.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale SAP environments, including system upgrades, migrations, and optimisations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, security, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with SAP cloud solutions, integrations, and emerging technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in SAP platform management or a similar role.
- SAP-related certifications are highly desirable.
