This amazing company is scaling and have a newly created role for an experienced Operations Manager-SIL to join their supportive and collaborative team.
About the role:
- Ensure the SIL houses are well maintained and provide a safe and comfortable environment for consumers and employees.
- Lead and inspire a productive team.
- Ensure ongoing training and development of employees.
- Ensure sound financial management, regulatory and legislative compliance.
- Ensure all consumers have current Care plans and Behaviour Support plans and that these guide service delivery and employee practice.
- Monitor financial expenditure; forecast and prepare budgets for SIL services program and regularly monitor and review performance against targets.
- Ensure consumer records are accurate
- Ensure SIL compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
- Foster a culture where risks are identified in a timely manner and appropriately managed
- Report on areas of serious risk and collaborate with team members to mitigate those risks
- Ensure compliance with all OH&S legislation and regulations
- Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams across multiple sites in disability/SIL.
- Good understanding of Disability Act 2006 and its impact on service delivery.
- Demonstrated commitment to service performance, evidence-based practice and improving outcomes for consumers.
- Working with Children check or willing to obtain.
- NDIS screening check and background checks or willing to obtain.
- Excellent communication and administration skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
